摘要
Fe-Ni alloys have extensive industrial applications due to their low coefficient thermal expansion and high strength. The Fe-Ni alloy plate, sheet, rod, and foil have different textures, and in general, the residual stress is not measured in the textured metal. In the present study, two measurement approaches, X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique and flexural strain analysis, of X-ray residual stress in Fe-Ni alloy with different textures were developed. The experimental results showed that XRD technique can be a provisional way to measure X-ray residual stress in Fe-Ni alloy with different textures validated with flexural strain analysis.
