Compact lens antenna with high-directivity based on zero-index metamaterials

摘要
In this paper, we present a compact flat lens antenna based on zero-index metamaterials, which can increase the directivity of circular patch antenna efficiently. We design and fabricate a compact lens antenna based on split-ring resonator (SRR) arrays. The measurement result shows that the zero-index metamaterial lenses can improve the performance of the patch antenna, which agrees well with the simulation one.
