摘要
The paper presents the role of leaders in managing firm's resources and capabilities. Thus, leaders make decisions about how to employ resources in the formulation and implementation of strategy. They are key to the success of a firm's strategy. Also, the paper presents the role of leaders in identifying resources that will create a competitive advantage, locating the economic branches attractive in which to perform, and then selecting the strategy to get the most out of them. The paper emphasizes the fact that the influence of leaders is more pronounced in context such as entrepreneurial phases, turnarounds, and competitive turmoil.
