摘要
In the title compound, C29H40N3O+center dot I-, the heterocyclic ring in the two independent molecules exhibits a sofa conformation, with the N atom deviating from the plane through the other ring atoms. The dihedral angles between the planar part of the heterocycle and the two almost planar fragments, which include the benzene rings and bridging atoms, are 29.21 (9)/5.43 (8) and 21.44 (10)/25.17 (10)degrees in the two independent molecules. Weak intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot I contacts link the cations and anions in the crystal structure.
