摘要：

This paper revisits a continuous-time estimation algorithm for delay systems reformulating the technique with sensible modifications and extensions. First, minor changes are proposed and the implication in algorithm behaviour is discussed. Second, with the introduction of rational approximations to time delay, the setting is opened to account for the model mismatch plus the ever existing unmodelling and to comprehend operation in discrete time also.
