摘要
An electrical-transport study, under magnetic field, of the organic low-dimensional conductor (TMTSF)(2)PF6 in its metallic state is presented. The resistance anisotropies R-yy/R-xx and R-zz/R-xx in a given sample were found to be strongly magnetic field as well as temperature dependent. Clear experimental evidence of a magnetic-field-induced one-dimensionalization of the in-plane electronic motion is provided. These findings are compared with recent experimental results and theories proposed to explain the "anomalous" magnetoresistance observed in the TMTSF compounds in terms of an unconventional or non-classical metal.
