Methods: The population of the descriptive and cross-sectional study consisted of all senior nursing students (n = 267) studying at a state university in the 2018-2019 academic year. Of them, 168 who volunteered to participate in the study constituted the sample of the study. The study data were collected using the "Personal Information Form" developed by the researchers and the "Evidence-Based Practice Nursing Attitude Questionnaire." Numbers, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Mann Whitney U test were used in the analysis of the data. Results: The mean age of the students participating in the study was 22.79 years. Of them, 92.3% were women. The mean scores the students obtained from the overall Evidence-Based Practice Nursing Attitude Questionnaire was 63.11 +/- 7.63. Of the students, those who kept up with research, and those who considered doing research about nursing after graduation and putting the research results into practice obtained higher mean scores (P <.05). Conclusion: At the end of the study, it was determined that the mean score the nursing students obtained from the overall Evidence-Based Practice Nursing Attitude Questionnaire was high.
