Identification of transfer parameters of a claystone by inverse approach

摘要
An inverse method was developed at the laboratory for application to the identification of in situ stress state and rheological parameters, and extended to the identification of hydro-mechanical couplings and transfer parameters. The rock under study is a weakly permeable porous claystone which is a potential host for radioactive waste storage. The identification of transfer parameters of the claystone is separated in two cases. Under fully saturated conditions, the intrinsic permeability of claystone is identified considering pulse tests. Under partially saturated conditions, relative permeability and sorption isotherm are identified considering a drying/imbibition test.
