摘要：

In this paper, the author conducts a comparative study on the status of experimental teaching for tourism majors in famous Chinese tourism and foreign universities. The significance of experimental teaching is summarized, while the methods and measures to improve experimental based tourism education are discussed. Researches of the author shows that experimental teaching plays an important part for tourism majored college students to improve their professional skills, thus, enhance the competitiveness of the students in the employment market. This paper may provide reference for sustainable development of tourism education in China through improving experimental teaching.
