Wide-range tunable wavelength filter in periodically poled lithium niobate

摘要
In this paper, a tunable narrowband spectral filter in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) by temperature is experimentally demonstrated. We observe a shift of transmission spectrum of PPLN Solc-type filter when the temperature is modified. The tuning rate is measured to be -0.422 nm/degreesC, which is in agreement with calculation results of the coupled-mode theory. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
