摘要
The positive psychology that increases mental health is referred to "health assets." Among those assets, self-compassion (SC) and students' well-being (PW) are considered important. This study examines the effect of SC on PW as potential mediators between narcissism(N) and anxiety (A) in a sample of 420 students from five Vietnamese universities (18.89 +/- 1.16 (18 - 21) years) whose students reported measures of self-compassion (SCS), anxiety (DASS21), psychological-well-being (WHO-5), and narcissism (NPI). The results showed that SC was significantly correlated with the PW. N, A mediated the relationship between SC and PW. The study findings suggested that school counselors should incorporate these concepts and practices into training courses to enhance university students' mental health. Furthermore, a result of the analysis concluded that an increase in psychological well-being and self-compassion could decrease students' anxiety. In addition, this study also suggested building some therapy, psycho-well-being, and self-compassion programs to enhance the students' positive mental health.
