摘要
Introduction: In this study, pre-conditioning reperfusion was applied to the lower extremities of sports players to analyze its effects on recovery and anaerobic resistance. Materials and methods: 14 male students in the Istanbul University Sport Science Faculty volunteered to participate in this study. After all the details of this study were explained to participants and consent was obtained, the Wingate anaerobic power test was used in consecutive days and blood lactate levels were measured. To determine the effects of ischemic pre-conditioning, data was analyzed for pre-ischemia and post-ischemia created in the femoral region of both legs. The obtained data was analysed using a paired sample 1-test. The coherence among the groups' averages was checked with an independent variables t-test and Mann-Whitney U test. The analysis of the lactic acid parameters was completed with the use of the repeated variance analysis method. The significance value was p<0.05. Results: According to the results of the the wingate anaerobic power test results which were applied both before and after the ischemia-reperfusion practices, it was found that peak power scaled up to 643.4 (+/- 43.0) from 611.7 (+/- 36.4). Another parameter average power value rose from 473.5 (+/- 28.9) to 488,9 (+/- 26.8) following the ischemia reperfusion while minimum power value dropped to 322.9 (+/- 24.6) from 352,2 (+/- 24.2). Based on the results of the Wingate anaerobic power test applied after ischemia and the ischemia perfusion period of both legs, it was found that although complete power values were higher than post-ischemia absolute values, there was no statistically significant difference between them (p<0.05). Conclusions: It was found that ischemia and reperfusion applications applied in single cycles caused no change in anaerobic power. Additionally, although there was a significant raise in lactic acid values especially on 3rd minute of large muscle mass ischemia, this effect was insignificant at the temporal level.
