摘要
A solar PV system is a type of renewable source of energy which is environment friendly. However, output power fluctuates due to variations in solar insolation and temperature. Hence, maximum power point tracking is necessary for maximal output power. This research presents a study of maximum power point tracking for solar PV system. The DC/DC converter was incorporated with the solar PV system design. Simulation was performed using the Matlab/Simulink software. Comparative results of output power are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed MPPT control strategy. Simulation results reveal that the proposed MPPT technique furnishes the system with an increase in the maximal power than the incremental conductance technique.
