Evolution of microstructure and phase of Fe3O4 in system of Fe3O4-polyaniline during high-energy ball milling

摘要
Microstructural and phase transformation of magnetite induced by high-energy ball milling and influence of conducting polyaniline on Fe3O4 particles in system of Fe3O4-polyaniline is investigated by Mossbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, FTIR and vibrating sample magnetometry analyses. It is found that with the increasing of milling time the size of Fe3O4 particles rapidly reduced to about 21 nm. Some new paramagnetic products and a small number of superparamagnetic alpha-Fe2O3 particles were obtained, and the components of the A and B sites of Fe3O4 spinel structure were distinctly transformed by adding PAN.
