摘要
The concern for promoting the financial competence of the population is an aspect that is becoming increasingly important nowadays. In general, improving financial competencies enriches society, especially when the majority of its population faces a problem of financial exclusion. Consequently, financial education programs should be a constant concern for everyone. For this reason, this paper analyzes the effect of economic literacy on financial inclusion, attitude and financial behavior in Honduras. Our results suggest that economic literacy has a positive effect on the level of financial inclusion, attitude and financial behavior. Thus, this study aims to encourage governments and international organizations to implement programs to improve the global financial literacy of men and women, whose levels are alarmingly low in developing countries.
