H∞ estimation of discrete-time piecewise linear systems

摘要
In the present paper, we investigate the H-infinity estimation problem for a class of discrete-time switching systems in a piecewise linear form. A type of Luenberger estimator is presented to guarantee an performance by using arguments from the Lyapunov theory. Two approaches based on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and bilinear matrix inequalities (BMIs) respectively are introduced. Our approaches employ S-procedure and partition-dependent stack variables to reduce design conservatism. An example is given to illustrate the proposed estimator design methods.
