Solubility of carbon dioxide in an aqueous mixture of methyldiethanolamine and N-methylpyrrolidone at elevated pressures

The solubility of carbon dioxide in a mixed solvent consisting of 40% methyldiethanolamine + 50% N-methylpyrrolidone + 10% water (all mass%) has been measured at seven temperatures in the range of 0-150 degrees C at pressures up to 20 MPa. A second liquid phase formed at elevated pressures and its locus was determined. (c) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
