摘要
Swing compressors have received significant attention due to their ability to function under the high discharge pressure resulting from the use of alternative refrigerants. The goal of this study is to analyze the dynamic characteristics of a swing compressor under different discharge pressures. D'Alambert principle is used to analyze the dynamics of compressor components, and then the dynamic characteristics and mechanical properties of a swing compressor are investigated under different discharge pressures. The results show that with increased discharge pressure, the swing compressor exhibits less of a decrease in mechanical efficiency than the rolling piston compressor. In a working cycle, the performance of the swing compressor during the discharge and mixing phases is limited by greater force and wear. In addition, the sum of the friction losses between rotor and eccentric, eccentric shaft and bearings, and swing rod and guide accounts for more than 80% of the total friction loss. The results provide guidance for the structural design of the swing compressor. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd and IIR. All rights reserved.
