摘要
Some features of the martensitic transformation of a ferromagnetic Co49.0Ni22.0Ga29.0 single crystal have been clarified, including an effect of strain-induced stabilization of martensite. Microstructural observations support the origin of such effect, already introduced in non-ferromagnetic alloys, being related to difficulties in the formation of a habit plane between detwinned martensite and austenite.
