摘要：
For an evaluation of the values of archaeological and heritage sites, we need to look beyond economic notions such as price and consider the relevant artistic, historical, and social values that such sites generate. The realization of values requires awareness of them and the making real of them. Such realization requires the involvement of the relevant stakeholders. Archaeological sites, therefore, need to be realized as shared goods, rather than as public or market goods.
