摘要
We developed a non-radioisotopic assay to detect telomerase activity in serum-free mouse embryo cells (SFME cells). Using this assay, telomerase regulation mechanism in differentiated SFME cells was investigated SFME cells treated with 10% serum or with 10 ng/ml of TGF-beta showed astrocytes-like phenotypes and lowered telomerase activity, These results indicate that telomerase activity is down-regulated with the differentiation of SFME cells into astrocytes.
