摘要：

This paper presents a Markov model for performing reliability and availability analysis of two unit multiplex systems with human error and common-cause failures. System availability, steady state availability, mean time to failure (MTTF) and variance of time to failure formulas are developed. Some selective plots are shown to demonstrate the effect of occurrence of common-causes failures and human errors.
