摘要：

The pancreatic lipase inhibitory activity of the aqueous ethanol extracts obtained from 19 medicinal plants was evaluated in vitro by a continuous-monitoring pH-Stat technique using tributyrin as a substrate. Of the extracts tested, those of Juniperus communis (bark) and Ilicium religiosum (wood) exhibited the strongest activity with an IC50 value of 20.4 and 21.9 mu g/mL, respectively.
