Quality Cost Control of Construction Engineering Based on Value Chain

Quality cost of construction engineering throughout the whole construction process is large enough to draw our attention; especially the recessive cost such as loss of productivity and customers caused by quality problems will eventually bring incalculable damage to the enterprise. This article identifies the cause of quality cost of construction engineering based on value chain analysis. To protect high productivity and establish a good relationship with customers, suppliers and competitors, the construction enterprise should improve quality cost control system by bringing in the strategy of activity-based cost management, supplier collaboration, customer value and coopetition.
