Double ionization of H- by fast electron impact

Double ionization (e, 3e) of H- is studied theoretically by using a correlated wavefunction for the target and a partially correlated double continuum in the final channel. Unlike other previous theoretical works for this process, the long-range Coulomb interaction arising between the projectile and the target ion has been taken into account in a consistent manner in both channels within the framework of the Coulomb-Born approximation. The fully differential cross sections (5DCS) have been studied for both symmetric and asymmetric geometries.
