摘要
Many factors, including geometric and mechanical parameters, can affect the stability of anchored slopes. In this paper, anchors are modeled by using the dual-spring element, which are basically one-dimensional axial elements that behave as elastic-perfectly plastic materials and can yield under tension and compression. Parametric study is undertaken in which the effects of anchor layouts on the factor of safety and the potential slip surface of are observed. The layout which features a variation of anchor length is divided into two types of layout: an increase of anchor length and a decrease of anchor length from top of slope to its bottom. The calculation results show that, the layout of anchors is a crucial factor in improving slope stability. The increase of anchor length from top of slope to its bottom can improve the FoS more effectively than the decrease of anchor length.
