摘要
The research aims to improve the training of future teachers of Early Childhood Education by incorporating the possibility of doing a practicum with Service-Learning Projects (SLP) to promote social engagement This experience can help to train committed professionals while being able to accompany the learning and building processes of children's personality. To do this, there is a need to review personal issues related to values, ethical and social positions with students who are training as teachers. For this reason, the objective of this research is to facilitate changes in the teacher training model, creating strategies that bring about a more active and participatory relationship between school and university, understanding education as a shared space between different social agents. A mixed methodology has been used: an initial questionnaire for 96 students attending the last practicum of the degree, a final questionnaire for students, teachers and tutors of the university that includes open questions. The results show the strengths of this approach where students who contribute to a practicum with SLP perceive a greater appreciation of prosocial attitudes and aptitudes than students who have undertaken other types of projects. This result allows LIS to continue providing evidence for vocational training with a higher degree of social commitment:
