摘要
The objective of this research was to determine the influence of acetic acid concentration and microwave power in the microwave assisted-organosolv pulping of sugarcane bagasse. The microwave assisted organosolv pulping was conducted in varied acetic acid concentration (5-25%), and microwave power level (10-70%). The pulping residue was analyzed for its Kappa number, alpha, beta and gamma cellulose content. The research showed that microwave assisted-organosolv pulping conducted at 60 minutes and solid liquid ratio of 1:12, acetic acid concentration of 20% and microwave power of 10% from its maximum power (399 W) gave the Kappa number, alpha cellulose, beta cellulose and gamma cellulose of 21.86; 68; 20.09 and 11.91, respectively. The microwave organosolv pulping was prone to be effective in the lignin removal process.
