摘要
To meet the clean energy requirement, more and more solar photovoltaics are being integrated into the modern power system. Calculation of solar PV hosting capacity provides the idea of maximum possible rating with suitable location of PV in the planning phase. PV hosting capacity depends on system parameters and needs to be calculated prior to actual deployment. Hence, there is always some room to enhance the hosting capacity beyond the initial calculation. In this study, several PV hosting capacity enhancement techniques have been proposed and compared to find out the best possible technique for the system planners. The IEEE 43 bus industrial system has been used as the test system. Results show that inclusion of parallel lines and transformers, capacitor and battery energy storage system (BESS) can enhance the PV hosting capacity significantly though the enhancement percentage may vary from bus to bus.
