The progress of digitization in broadcasting stations enables the production of advanced content from video materials. Metadata plays an important role in describing the semantics of content. We focus on the significance of metadata for multimedia content production in broadcasting stations. A method of sharing valuable metadata in content production is proposed and a method of annotating metadata for Multimedia content is introduced as examples of the utilization of metadata. In this paper, the knowledge and experience obtained through the implementation of system and content production using real baseball contents is described.
