摘要：
Many political discourses and researches have approached the relation between tourism and gender, but mainly focusing on the gender segregation of tourism labour force, and less on the differentiations of tourism behaviour. The paper was aimed to analyse the role of gender in the spatial differentiation of people's travel behaviour across Europe, to identify territorial disparities shaped by gender. Travel expenditures, the number of trips and nights at destination were used to study the participation of men and women in tourism and the role of gender in the spatial differentiation of the Europeans' tourist behaviour.
