摘要
With growing urbanization, there has been a lot of close spacing adjacent buildings. Collision damage will occur under strong earthquakes of these structures. Many scholars have proposed the idea of installing control devices between adjacent structures. Therefore, the problem of vibration control of adjacent structures has caused wide public concern over the recent years. However, these researches mostly focus on the elastic analysis, and often simplify the structures into adjacent shear models. The seismic performance and seismic fragility of the vibration control for adjacent structures under different seismic intensity and different probability of occurrence, especially under near-field earthquakes, which have the characteristics of high-energy and short duration, has never been done. So, previous studies of vibration control always can't meet the multi-level seismic targets of structural safety and using function, and often ignore the adverse effects of near-field earthquakes. In view of this, two-dimensional models of some adjacent reinforced concrete structures were set up, nonlinear beam-column elements were used to define the beams and columns of the structural model, and incremental dynamic analysis was done under 20 near-field and 20 far-field seismic waves which were downloaded from the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research center to get the entire seismic response process of the adjacent structures, including controlled and uncontrolled, from initial elastic to yield, until to collapse. Seismic fragility curves of the adjacent structures which were controlled and uncontrolled were obtained. It compares the differences of seismic responses of adjacent structures under far-field and near-field earthquakes.
