Solvent extraction of gold cyanide with tri-butyl-phosphate and additive added in aqueous phase

摘要
A new solvent extraction system for gold cyanide into which an additive(SP or ST) was added in accordance with the molar ratio of Au(CN)(2)(-):additive=1:1 was studied at various pH values, gold concentrations, TBP concentrations, temperatures, equilibrium time, molar ratios of Au(CN);:additive, phase ratios(A/O) etc.. The behaviors of the extraction system was also investigated with real feed solutions obtained from a mine. The results show that Au(CN)(2)(-) could be quantitatively and selectively extracted in wide range of pH2 similar to 12. The extraction mechanism was discussed on the basis of the experimental results.
