The adjustable effect of Langchuangding(LCD) on the expression of Bcl-2 in T lymphocyte subsets of peripheral blood in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) was investigated, and its immunol regulation mechanism was explored. 53 female patients with SLE were divided into 2 groups randomly, the integrated Chinese and western medicine group being treated with LCD plus prednisone, the western medicine group with prednisone only. 30 healthy females were chosen as normal control group. The expression of Bcl-2 in T lymphocyte subsets (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ T cell) with flow cytometry(FCM) were measured. Compared with that in the normal group before treatment, the expression of Bcl-2 in CD4+ T cell in SLE group was low obviously, while in CD8+ T cell was high obviously(both P < 0.01); and the expression of Bcl-2 in CD4+ T cell in active stage was obviously lower than that in remission stage group (P < 0.05). Compared with that in the same group before treatment, the expression of Bcl-2 in CD4+ T cell in the integrated Chinese and western medicine group after treatment was raised obviously, while in CD8+ T cell decreased obviously(both P < 0.01); the expression of Bcl-2 in CD4+ T and CD8+ T cell varied obviously (respectively P < 0.01 and P < 0.05); both the expressions in CD4+ and CD8+ T cell in two groups after treatment were different significantly(both P < 0.05). Therefore, treating SLE with integrated LCD and prednisone can more effectively adjust the expression of Bcl-2 in T lymphocyte subsets and improve the disturbed inter immunol environment.
