摘要
This paper presents a practical structural topology optimization of minimizing compliance including the material volume fraction as an additional design variable subjected to the synthetic constraints directly in terms of material volume fraction. Any physical property as long as related to material volume fraction theoretically can be analyzed and composed by an explicit function that is convenient for sensitivity information in MMA based topology optimization with SIMP model. This paper gives a clear description of how to deal with the proposed design process with the illustration of an MBB beam topological optimum design. The proposed design procedure requires a little effort in operation; however, it is considerably easy to handle by a general optimization engineer.
