摘要
Effect of alternating-sign magnetic field line curvature configuration on the performance of steady-state-inductively coupled plasma discharge has been investigated. The theory and calculation result predicts the convective transport suppression and the formation of the radially peaked spatial plasma distribution with plasma confinement substantial improvement due to steep stable gradient formation. Besides that such a steep gradients have not been registered in used inductively-coupled plasma initial experiments we have observed improvement in the discharge stability by applying of magnetic configuration of special field-line curvature.
