摘要
This paper presents parametric analysis of the receiver Vivaldi antenna in a forward-looking radar system with application in landmine detection. We focus on the radiation characteristics of the Vivaldi antenna by performing full-wave electromagnetic simulation. Firstly the substrate permittivity effect is investigated. Subsequently the soil structure and material property are considered with a landmine model included. The results are to be applied to the understanding of the radiation mechanism of the Vivaldi antennas in the radar transceiver subsystem.
