Treatment of wheat straw explosion pulping effluent with combined UASB-SBR process

摘要
The efficiency of a lab-scale combined UASB-SBR process in treating wheat straw explosion pulping effluent was studied in this paper. The results showed that during the anaerobic process, when the hydraulic retention time (HRT) was 1 day and the reactor loading about 5.3g CODc(r)/L.d, the removal percentages of CODc(r) and BOD5 could reach 75% and 95% respectively, and the mean production of CH4 was 247.4ml/g removal of CODc(r). After the following short period aerobic treatment, the removal efficiency was more significant. The total CODc(r) and BOD5 removal percentage could achieve 85.3% and 98% respectively, the discharge quantity of CODc(r) per ton of pulp production slightly higher than the discharge standard, while the discharge of BOD5 was far below the standard.
