Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis of Volumetric Properties of Multicharged Electrolytes Potassium Dichromate and Potassium Pyrophosphate in Aqueous D-Fructose Media at Different Temperatures

摘要
The present study has chosen densimetric method as the tool for measuring and deriving the volumetric parameters like, density (d), molar volume (V-m), apparent molar volume (V-phi), limiting apparent molar volume (V-phi(0)), limiting apparent molar expansibility (E-phi(0)) and S-V for two multicharged electrolytes potassium dichromate and potassium pyrophosphate dissolved in different concentrations in aqueous D-fructose solutions of different compositions at four different temperatures ranging from 298.15 to 313.15 K. Hepler's constant (partial derivative E-phi(0)/partial derivative T)(P) and isobaric thermal expansion coefficient are also calculated. The experimental and derived data have been used to interpret different types of attractive and repulsive forces acting between different species present in the ternary mixtures. It is concluded that ion-hydrophilic attraction and structure making ability of the ions are prevailing in the systems under investigation.
