摘要
In this paper, we present the preliminary results for a three-sided reflective pyramid wavefront sensor (3-RPWFS) for Shane Telescope's adaptive optics module. HCIPy simulations using a modulation radius of 5 lambda/D indicate comparable performance to the module's existing Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor. An opto-mechanical design is modeled to meet the physical constraints for Shane AO installation and future on-sky testing. A closedloop demonstration of a 3-RPWFS prototype is conducted using the SEAL testbed, and it yields promising results illustrating proof of concept. We discuss the details of the simulation, opto-mechanical design, and SEAL closed-loop results for the 3-RPWFS.
