摘要
BACKGROUND: Cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy is one of the rarest types of ectopic pregnancies. The incidence of cesarean scar pregnancies is increasing, possibly due to higher rates of cesarean section. The laparoscopy could cause massive bleeding. We report a case of a cesarean scar pregnancy that was eventually treated surgically with laparoscopy. CASE: A woman presented with ectopic pregnancy located in the scar of a previ-ous cesarean section. During laparoscopic surgery the uterine arteries were identified and slipknot-ligated, and the ectopic gestational tissue was wedge resected. The slipknot was removed after repair of the uterine defect. Operation time was 50 minutes; blood loss was 20 mL. The patient was discharged 3 days later. At 2 weeks after surgery the serum beta-human chorionic gonadotropin level was normal and regular menstruation had resumed. CONCLUSION: Laparoscopic temporary uterine artery ligation and excision of the gestational tissue appears to be an effective and minimally invasive treatment for cesarean scar pregnancy.
