摘要
The dislocation densities within the martensite in Fe-C alloys containing from 0.0026 to 0.78 mass% C and Fe-Ni alloys containing from 11 to 31 mass% Ni were measured by means of TEM. As carbon content increased up to 0.61%, the dislocation density in the lath martensite increased although the amount of dislocations decreased when carbon content increased from 0.61 to 0.78%. As nickel content increased up to 23%, the dislocation density in the lath martensite increased very slightly. There was a good correlation between the volume change on transformation and the dislocation density in lath martensite.
