GHF and AF are common problems that are frequently encountered together. These two disease states interact in a way that can result in a viscous cycle. This brief review will attempt to address the interaction between AF and CHF, atrial pathology and abnormal electrophysiology, clinical consequences, prognostic importance, and therapy.
