摘要
The B19 martensite structure of Ti(51.5)Ni(33.1)Cu(15.4) thin films containing the Ti(2)Cu precipitates annealed at 873 K for 1 h has been investigated by transmission electron microscopy. It was found that the Ti(2)Cu precipitates do not stop the shear deformation of martensitic transformation. The Ti(2)Cu precipitates were elastically bent when martensite plates cut through them. However, the Ti(2)Cu precipitates sometimes change the martensite plates in direction or width, suggesting that the Ti(2)Cu precipitates provide a resistance to the growth of martensite plates to some degree.
