摘要
Availability of essential elements, first of all P, is influenced by soil pH through its effect on fixation and release mechanisms. At low pH, part of P applied is converted to relatively unavailable forms as variscite, strengite or barrandite. Liming acid soils increases the availability of applied P. The lime requirement of the 15 types of representative acid soils from the North - Western part of the country was up to 5t CaCO3.
