Fuel particle and impurity transport in the divertor plasma is directly related to the particle recycling processes and consequently to the core plasma confinement. In this research we are studying a new diagnostic technique for the particle transport using test impurity injection into the tokamak edge plasmas. In order to investigate the particle transport test lithium atoms are injected into the tokamak edge plasma using the physical sputtering from the surface of aluminum-lithium alloy and the visible light emission from injected impurities is measured by fast CCD cameras. From the dynamic behavior of the CCD camera images the test impurity transport process in the tokamak edge plasmas is estimated, comparing with the Monte Carlo simulation.
