摘要
We investigate both bound and resonance states in C-12 embedded in a three-alpha-cluster continuum using a three-cluster microscopic model. The model relies on the hyperspherical harmonics basis to enumerate the channels describing the three-cluster discrete and continuous spectrum states. It yields the most probable distribution of the three alpha clusters in space, and the dominant decay modes of the three-cluster resonances.
