摘要:
A method has been developed which can estimate the shape of accumulated spent radioactive resins in a storage tank by measuring the radiation fields outside. The method used involves applying sampled pattern matching (SPM) of inverse problems to measured fields to determine the radioactive sources distribution. SPM is a reliable source estimation method and can reveal unique distributions of radioactive sources. To test the method two-dimensionally, the radiation fields outside a flat vessel stuffed with radioactive resin were measured using a 3 meter plastic scintillation fiber (PSF). The shapes of the stuffed resin were estimated using measured radiation field data and compared to the actual shapes, and reasonably good agreement was obtained. Also field test was carried out to verify the method three-dimensionally at the OHI nuclear power station of Kansai Electric Power Co.,LTD.
