摘要
A model based on dilute solution theory is presented for the correlation and extrapolation of Henry's constants of volatile organic compounds in aqueous salt solutions. The model is applicable over a significant range of temperatures and up to the solubility limits of the salts considered in this work. However, extrapolation over a range of salt concentrations requires one salt-dependent parameter. Experimental Henry's constants of methanol in aqueous solutions of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and sodium thiosulfate at temperatures between 313 and 353 K are also reported in this work. It is demonstrated that the data can be correlated within experimental error using the proposed model.
