摘要：

Informed consent appears as the right of every patient to decide in the health field. In this context, it is necessary to determine whether minors are to exercise this right or, on the contrary, require the intervention of a third party to carry it out. In this regard, our current legislation generally recognizes the right to decide of this group. However, sometimes there may be limitations to their exercise motivated either by the absence of actual capacity or by the principle of best interest. In short, it is a question of achieving the most significant benefit for minors in the field of health, avoiding harm to their life or integrity.
